We use color in our language every single day, and as writers you'll have to find new and interesting ways to describe colors as you see them for your writing.
The color white symbolises purity, innocence, and goodness. It can be used to distinguish between good and evil. The color white is feminine, with its counterpart (black) being masculine.
Switch the symbolism in your WIP to mean the opposite. Make white the color of evil and black the color of goodness.
